The soy beans oil is squeezed out and compressed in at high temperature，so it is dry and hard before use. Its texture becomes softer and chewy after reconstituted in hot water.
Preparation is simple: Boil it for 5 minutes in lukewarm water (take care not to make the water too hot, otherwise its texture gets hard), and repeat wash and squeeze for a couple of times. Then you can use it in your cooking as usual.
